Bristol Festival of Photography Lectures

View Gallery Christmas Show 2009
A week ago I was asked to show my latest work to Sarah and Nick at View Gallery in Bristol. Windmill Hill Arts Trail 2009
Just finished tidying up our house after a very successful Windmill Hill Arts Trail. The house looked fab thanks to Cathy Haworth from Lemonade Studio and her amazing illustrations and James Freelander-Boss and fantastic t-shirts.

2 Weeks to the Windmill Hill Arts Trail

Art on the Hill is the Windmill Hill and Victoria Park Arts Trail, over the last two years we have dazzled visitors with our wide variety of different arts. This year we are hoping to go bigger and better to create a great community focused arts event.

Light Brush Mark 2 -Colour test

Pictures In An Instant Its The Future

Something strange this way comes, The Black Could is a remarkable new temporary structure designed by internationally acclaimed artists Heather and Ivan Morison stuated in Victora Park Bedmister.

RIP Kodachrome
It’s a sad day for all film photographer’s after nearly three-quarters of a century, and thousand of amazing shot Kodak has decided to stop making this slide film.
From a personally point of view I hope this isn’t the begining of the end for all chemical photography products.

I was over in Amesterdam the other week and stumbled across a great gallery/book shop called w139.nl check it out websites it’s little weird though…
But anyway when I was there I was this book “Beyond photography” published by Voetnoot Publishers and Ruud van Empel and couldn’t resist buying it. It’s a new book on photography from the Netherlands and Belgium...

Light Brush Mark 2
So after searching high and low I ventured into Aladins Cave (East Street Bedminster) and found a right piece of tat. But Oerfect for taking apart and using in the mark 2 of my light brush the next step on from the painting with light work seen earlier in this blog.

Painting with light
Just started some new experiments in the darkroom here’s one of the early results.
Only just getting started with this but think its got sme real potential. It was created by using fibre optic wire inserted into the enlager head and then to paint with them directly on to colour paper.
